NAME: DOBSON’S HORSESHOE BAT

DESCRIPTION: This species is similar in appearance to the Pearson’s Horseshoe Bat, but larger in size. Its pelage and ears resemble the Pearson’s and like the former, its nose leaf is broad and bisected, and its sella does not have lappets on either side.

BEHAVIOUR: Unknown.

DISTRIBUTION: Recorded at two sites in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, and recently, also from the Andaman archipelago and Little Andaman Island.

HABITAT: Unknown.

Size: 6–6.8 cm

IUCN Status: Unlisted
