DESCRIPTION: A buff-brown or grey bat, the Lesser Horseshoe Bat is small and has a unique sella with a tall, narrow, triangular lancet. It has a long tail in comparison to other horseshoe bats.
BEHAVIOUR: Not known.
DISTRIBUTION: Found only in Jammu & Kashmir.
HABITAT: Caves, ruins and outhouses.
Size: 3.8–4.8 cm
IUCN Status: Least Concern
